There are many different factors that play into properly caring for your skin. Your body condition inside and out affects the look and health of your skin. Showing diligence in your skin care routine will quickly show results, making it difficult to deny the importance of healthy habits for beauty.
Spend time outdoors in the sun to improve acne problems. Go to the park during lunch, or do your exercise routine outside. The sun gives your skin vitamin D, which aids in healthy skin.
Don’t wear clothes that are wet, and take them off as soon as possible if they become damp. Socks and gloves that are wet will irritate the skin, causing it to crack and itch, and in worst cases, a flare-up of eczema.
Use a a sunscreen of at least 15 SPF to protect yourself from the harmful rays of the sun which can damage your skin. Put on sunscreen to aid in preventing peeling skin, wrinkles and sunburn. Wearing sunscreen on a daily basis helps fight the signs of aging and helps you maintain your youthful look.
Drink lots of water, daily. Since your skin is part of you, being dehydrated will negatively effect your skin as well. This is especially important if your skin is exposed to overly dry conditions, such as cold air or sun exposure. This leads to more healthy skin and an overall more healthy look.
Cold Weather
Cold weather means wearing gloves. Your hand skin is extremely thin; therefore, it’s easy for it to become inflamed and crack. Wearing gloves in cold weather keeps hands soft and supple.
A great skin care tip is to always make sure you get enough sleep. Not getting enough sleep is what can lead to the development of wrinkles beneath your eyes. Try to get at least eight hours of sleep every night to keep your skin looking healthy and to keep your stress down.
